Andrew and Allie embody why I love my job. While editing this shoot I just couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Sweet, super cute, and totally adoring of one another Allie and Andrew asked us to shoot their wedding and engagements. Allie grew up with one of our good friends Jen, who got married last year to our friend Andrew. See their wedding HERE and HERE. It is always awesome when we gain new relationships with clients based on current or past clients.
Also, I love love love when the guy does the unprompted "eyes-closed-while holding my lady" shot. It is completely endearing and just lovely to see. It makes me believe that this guy knows himself to be the luckiest guy in the world. (queue up Ben Folds "the luckiest" song in background.) And we (excited high voice) get to photograph the beginning of their lives together! What an amazing job we have. To all our clients, thank you.

I love how this next shot feels like we're at the beach, blown out background and soft white light. I need to get to the beach now.
Before the shoot, Andrew mentioned that he was a big fan of Kristen+Carlos' Engagement Shots in the big tree, you might remember them from here. So, we made sure to put Allie and Andrew up in the big tree too. They look so different from Kristen and Carlos' shoot and I love them both. That is what I really love about how Tim and I approach photography, we try to make the picture more about our models and less about the next big shot in the industry.
And isn't Allie such a beauty? I can't wait to take portraits of her on the wedding day!
